Waterhole at the Deluxe Chalets

We've got some exciting news to share that's making waves at Gwango Heritage Resort - we're opening up a new waterhole for our Ellie friends in the area!

Our Deluxe Chalets overlooking the waterhole, imagine sitting on your veranda looking at a serene oasis nestled amidst the Teak forest, where these giants come out to play and quench their thirst without having to jostle for space at the poolside - remember that saga? We're giving our gentle giants a new exclusive watering spot.

And let me tell you, it's not just our elephant friends who are in for a treat. With this new addition, guests at Gwango can look forward to even more mesmerizing wildlife encounters right from the comfort of their chalets. Waking up from the sound and sight of majestic elephants leisurely sipping from the waterhole is what you can look forward to...... Now, if that isn't a true African safari experience, I don't know what is. 

But hey, we're not stopping there! We've also got some other fascinating little friends making themselves at home around our resort. Take the Southern White-Faced Owl, for example. These majestic birds are not only monogamous but also skilled hunters, with a taste for everything from large insects to small mammals, birds, and reptiles. Spotting one of these beauties during your stay is like stumbling upon a hidden gem in the wild - a moment to be cherished and remembered forever, for sure.
